Charles & Ron partner with ARize to showcase fashion in 3D at LAFW, US

Contemporary lifestyle brand Charles & Ron (C&R) has teamed up with 3D, AR (augmented reality) and VR (virtual reality) experience creators ARize Group to bring a new dimension to the fashion world during Los Angeles Fashion Week (LAFW), which runs from 17th to 20th March 2022. The fashion house will showcase its pieces in the 3D format at the show.
Charles & Ron will also be releasing its first NFT collection in Q2 of this year.
With the ARize technology, viewers can experience the creations whether at home or at the event itself using only a handheld device and no additional software or apps, the two entities said in a joint media release.

C&R will give a sneak peak of some of its designs in 3D/AR on 18th March during an exclusive event in Los Angeles organised to celebrate Charles & Ron’s new Fall/Winter 22/23 collection. The brand will release 3D/AR versions of all the pieces showcased in the show on March 20th, after the show ends.
“I have been thinking (of) using tech in our brand for a long time. This collaboration is perfect as it gives our customers, both existing and potential, an extra dimension to the artistic pieces they will own. For us the question was never if, but when and the time is now,” said Ron.
On the other side of the partnership, this move showcases ARize’s commitment to taking companies into a whole new space with the use of 3D, VR and AR technologies; through NFT creations and the building of independent metaverses, the release added.
ARize CEO Aryan Behzadi is looking forward to the outcome of this partnership and the effect it will have on the world: “As a company, we are always looking to disrupt traditional spaces and bring them forward into the new landscape, and this is the perfect example of this.
