Italian fashion firm Salvatore Ferragamo`s revenue rises 29.6% in FY21

Salvatore Ferragamo, an Italy-based luxury goods company, has reported consolidated revenue growth of 29.6 per cent to €1,136 million in fiscal 2021. In the fourth quarter of fiscal 2021, group revenue increased by 20.8 per cent as compared to the same period of fiscal 2020, due to the strong contribution of North America and of the digital channel.
In FY 2021, the retail distribution channel posted consolidated revenues up 30.2 per cent as compared to 2020. In the fourth quarter, retail revenue increased by 17.1 per cent as compared to the same quarter of fiscal 2020. The growth exceeded the pre-COVID levels, mainly driven by the performance in five Areas (Greater China, North America, Latin America, Korea and Japan).
The direct e-commerce channel in 2021 continued to consolidate a solid growth, with revenue up by 41.3 per cent in 2020. In the fourth quarter, direct e-commerce increased by 21.6 per cent from the fourth quarter of 2020.

The wholesale channel registered an increase in revenue of 28.6 per cent in 2020. In the fourth quarter of 2021, wholesale revenue went up 32.2 per cent from the fourth quarter of 2020.
